EGCA
provides ECB qualified coaches for private, Club and Academy and schools
programmes throughout the year. All of the Academy coaches are ECB qualified,
with up to date CRB records. Many of our coaches have played at first class
level and in senior club cricket and combined with their impressive coaching
expertise, they are able to pass on this knowledge to the students
Our aim is to teach the fundamentals of cricket and develop a culture of excellence, using the first class facilities made available. We strive for quality, improvement and achievement at all times, whilst making the sessions challenging, productive but at all times enjoyable.
We must remember at all times that for 99% of all the people who play this game no matter what grade or standard, is that it is a pastime and a hobby and that if we are not supportive and able to make our students feel more confident in their own ability, then they will very quickly lose interest and walk away. This for us is one of the benchmarks of our success and applies to whether we are teaching in a school playground or with an elite group of players.

Arguably the most important people at any Club or Academy are the coaches and there is a tremendous amount of satisfaction that can be gained from teaching children. A skilled and enthusiastic coach can do wonders and set the child off on a cricketing adventure that can last a lifetime.
To this end, EGCA are always seeking to educate as many potential club players and parents as possible through the ECB National Coaching Scheme in order to develop and make a difference for the club, Academy and local community.
